good lord -- let's cease and desist with the comments about boobs and clothing that doesn't do what it's doing here in the pic.  we're WELL aware of the physical inconsistencies here.  for those who ACTUALLY care, this is a significant limitation of how the V4 > Genesis 2 autofit feature works in DAZ3D.  it is basically a shrinkwrap process, and this is the result.  bottom line is: we know.  it's wrong.  but this pic isn't about boobs.  it's about beauty in the eye (or four eyes) of the beholder.  we're staggered by how many of you are obsessed with the technical problems of the image.  we would LOVE for you to show us how to solve these problems, rather than just comment on them.  if you have a genuine solution to this software limitation, please share it with us:

I have similar issues in poser.  If the fitting process in Daz is similar I think that the best option to minimize this is to start out the fitting with only a couple of frames (5 is where I start) then add or subtract.  That way when it it shrunk onto the figure you can stop it when it fits and not allow it to continue to pull in.  The other option is manually fitting it which is tedious and frustrating however does give you ultimate control.  I too with that there were better options.

"...if you have a genuine solution..."

If I had the experience, I would happily contribute some ideas for solutions.

As it is, a very satisfying image - and hey, clothes that shrinkwrap your characters, can be quite fetching!

Anyone who looks at this gal, and doesn't see how gorgeous she is first, is missing the forest while all he/she sees is trees. There may be (and are) technical details that aren't perfect, but the lady herself is worth a thousand looks. Her facial structure, her eyes ( and those glasses), that mouth, and those lips, are complemented by that bustline, not the other way around. I happily look at this pic (and will many times more; it's an easy Fave), and rejoice that it even exists. Lovely work!

I'd recommend the SickleYield breast fixer.  Basically, you fit the clothing to the SY breast fixer, and that will give you a natural look for the clothing, instead of clothing that unnaturally wraps the body.

Well the problem with the clothes can be fixed. Do not use the standard large/size/diameter whatever morphs on the clothes prop. Start with a zeroed pose. Also reset the pose of the model (V4 or V6 does not matter).
Then use one deformer in the middle of the breasts and translate in Z direction. Adjust the size and the scaling as required. I then create a morph from the deformer (to make it work best when in other poses).
Then I mix my new morph with large/size/diameter whatever, until I get the desired effect.
I did the same thing in this render:…
If you need any more details, send me a message.

The render is great, despite the technical problem :)

This is amazing. Great work.

The only thing I have to say about the clothes is that I would love to know what kind they are.

Thanks for sharing your awesomeness with us!

Actually, I have no problem with this one at all. I'm kinda shaped like her "up top", and would love to find a sweater-top like she's wearing in the real world! :)  Good work!

VERY well said!  I too have lived with this limitation you describe but it doesn't bother nearly as much as it does others!  FANTASTIC job on the model!  Her facial features, eyes, lips, everything are incredible!  Even her nails have the perfect amount of shine to them.  Great job!  Very sexy!  :) (Smile)

The intensity in her eyes is phenomenal! The entire thing is so well done!! It's beautiful
RebekahKroeplin Featured By Owner Aug 5, 2014
I will ignore the fact that her boobs are kind of big, especially after reading your description.

Her eyes are gorgeous!  Honestly, I've met very few people in my life that have piercing eyes like hers.  Gorgeous!

How long did it took you to render this piece with Reality?
looks-can-kill Featured By Owner Aug 5, 2014  Hobbyist Digital Artist
we mostly just cook pieces for a day... so approximately 24 hours.

Did that person write that comment just below after reading your write-up or after, I wonder?  Sorry you got so many people nit-picking something so dumb.  When I first saw this image, I assumed that you wanted the fabric to look like that: adhering itself to her every curve.  It makes the image hotter, in my opinion.

Awesome image.  Very sexy.  Wonderful expression.  Do you do commissions?  Message me back, please.

The funny part of this picture is, that they are not talking about the glasses.
tman300 Featured By Owner Edited Aug 4, 2014
Nicely done irrespective of the clothing issues. Faved it. :)

Same shrink wrap look occurs very often when fitting gen4 clothing to gen5 models. In general the only option as far as I can tell is to add a morph in your modeling software of choice or use one of Sickleyield's special clothing under clothing products to get a more natural looking fit.

you know, despite the clothing (which as you said, is done through a sort of shrinkwrap process) i had to come here in person because i thought she was either a highly detailed painting or a photo. bravo sir, bravo.

very good, incredible detail but thats really not how sweaters work.

Anything can be critiqued, but first look and appreciate the image. Then maybe you won't feel the need to critique.

What makes it for me is her expression, the hand on the glasses, the hair, the jeans tucked into the boot. The whole feeling or 'look' of the portrait is what I see. Very good indeed. Warm and sexy as a total.
